Chapter 4: I Belong to the Seed of Isaac; the Seed of Greatness.
Genesis 26:12–14 “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundred fold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great. For he had possessions of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants and the Philistines envied him” Somebody shout Fire — shout fire — shout fire, fire, fire. I shall receive a hundredfold of my harvest and results. The LORD shall bless me so that I will wax great. I go forward now. I become very great now in Jesus name, Amen. Isaac was in the land of Gerar during the great famine. While others were running away to Egypt, he hearkened to the voice of God to stay there and not to go down into Egypt. He planted in that same land and reaped a hundred percent of harvest that same year, even without any rain on ground. God is a Mighty God indeed. No limitation can stop you in Jesus name. He became a great man and had possessions of flocks and herds and possession of servants and laborers and he became the envy of the Philistines. Now, God blessed Isaac not because of Isaac, per se, but because of his covenant with Abraham, because of the oath he swore to perform unto Abraham. Genesis 26:3 “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father. And I will make thy seed to multiply as the Stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed”. As God blessed Isaac and made him to wax great and to go forward and to grow until he became very great, so shall you be blessed in Jesus name — amen. I decree and declare that I shall be great. I shall go forward. I shall wax great. I shall grow until I become very great, in the name of Jesus — Amen. Galatians 4:28 “Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise”. Because Isaac was a child of promise, God blessed him. You too, you’re a child of promise, and you’re also blessed by God in Jesus name. THEREFORE I DECREE AND DECLARE: I am blessed in Jesus name. I am a child of promise in Jesus name. I receive the blessing of Abraham in Jesus name. At this stage, let us join the other conditionality that made us qualified to receive all these blessing from God. Faith — our faith in Christ. Not works. Romans 4:3, “For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness”. Verse 5 “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness” Your faith is very important here to get the blessings of prosperity and wealth that is in Abraham through faith in Jesus Christ. Look at verse 16 “therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all; Verse 17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Verse 18 who against hope believed in hope that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. Verse 19 and being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. Verse 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory of God. Verse 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. Verse 22 and therefore it was imputed unto him for righteousness Verse 23 now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him Verse 24 but for us also, to whom also it shall be imputed, if we belief on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. Verse 25 who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. I quoted the whole length of this bible passage to let you understand the role of faith and what it means to God and to your prosperity and blessing, so that you can share and partake in the blessing that has been ordained in that Abrahamic blessing, if only you can dare to believe just like Abraham did.
