What We Believe Eagles Gathering Prophetic Ministry – Statement of Faith At Eagles Gathering Prophetic Ministry, we are a Spirit-filled, Pentecostal church committed to the full gospel of Jesus Christ. Our foundational beliefs are rooted in the Word of God and guided by the Holy Spirit. We believe: 1. The Trinity We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. These three are one in essence, power, and glory, yet distinct in function. “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” — 1 John 5:7 (KJV) 2. Salvation through Jesus Christ We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth in human flesh, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and offers eternal life to all who believe in Him. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (KJV) 3. Baptism in the Name of Jesus We believe in water baptism by full immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, as practiced by the early Church. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward change, signifying the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ in the life of the believer. “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” — Acts 2:38 (KJV) 4. The Baptism and Power of the Holy Spirit We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced by speaking in tongues and the manifestation of spiritual gifts. The Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living, ministry, and bold witness. “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me...” — Acts 1:8 (KJV) 5. The Bible We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for all our faith, teaching, and living. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.” — 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) 6. The Second Coming of Christ We believe that Jesus Christ will return soon to receive His Church. We eagerly await His glorious appearing and seek to live ready for His return. “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout... and the dead in Christ shall rise first.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (KJV)
